Overview

Organizations must adopt more flexible and adaptable management approaches to respond quickly to complex market needs. The Agile approach is focused on change and is centered on the ability of organizations to react and adapt to increasingly dynamic competitive environments. In line with these needs, this course will introduce some tools and frameworks integrated into agile approaches, supported by computer applications, if appropriate.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the microcredential, each trainee should be able to:

• Identify which project management approach is more suited to the project;
• Understand the values and principles needed to develop an agile mindset;
• Understand the role of leadership in agile approaches, transforming the leader into a facilitator;
• Know and understand the relationship between Lean philosophy and Agile;
• Identify and apply some tools and frameworks integrated into Agile approaches, where applicable, using computer applications;
• Understand the SCRUM framework and how its main elements – roles, events, and artifacts – enable project development supported by Agile management.
